Last weekend, my long walks on the weeken...

Nov 8, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases    9,731,932 Coronavirus US Deaths  224,752   Nov 14, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases.  10,593,946 Coronavirus US Deaths.  231,803   Interesting things that happened this week Sunday Gil finally did his 5k and earned his Wizard medal and wand.  I was just happy to get it over with.  When I first ordered those I was still just barely completing the 5k distance and was working towards a 10k distance.  Now, I’m doing a 5k (or close to it) every morning before work and doing half marathon distances on the weekend.  It annoyed me to have the package sitting there with our shirts, wands and medals in it.  Now its opened and distributed and I don’t have to worry about it anymore.  After Gils 5k, we went for a beer tasting at a local brewery called 81 Bay Brewing Co.  We got a sample of 4 beers so we each choose 2.  They had no low carb beers so I ended up getting 2 f...

Oct 25, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases    8,439,681 Coronavirus US Deaths  212,703   Oct 31, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases  8,914,804 Coronavirus US Deaths  217,905   Interesting things that happened this week Last weekend I was able to do 10 miles on both Saturday and on Sunday.  I have been doing only one ten mile day and then on the second day doing 10k.  My Saturday 10miles was done in 3.5 hours.  Not great, but not bad for me.  On Sunday my 10 miles was done in 4.5 hours.  My energy levels were obviously lower and I think I need to pay a little more attention to what I’m eating Saturday after my walk.   Took Gil to the botanical garden in Bradenton Sunday.  I'd forgotten I'd been there before but it started coming back to me as I was driving there, its about a quarter mile away from Robinson Preserve and I used to pass it all the time.  Checked it out with the parents at some point in the ...

Oct 18, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases  7,978,013 Coronavirus US Deaths 207,190   Oct 24, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases  8,377,396 Coronavirus US Deaths  212,337     Other interesting things that happened this week:   Sunday, I made baked tilapia with coconut flour.  It turned out well, but I put the flour on too thick.  Next time it will be thinner.  And possibly fried rather than baked. Now that I’m not worried about plasma donation, I’m eating more of what I want.  I bought celery and cukes and 3 more kinds of dip.  I love my veg and dip. On Monday morning, after the toilet, I weighed in at 186.6.  Hooray!  I didn’t loose weight last week and I thought it was because of all the extra protein I was eating.  I had also not had a lot of fiber…so there may have been some extra weight because of that.  But I’m back to loosing again. We have reservations for the zoo to do a Indian Rhino fee...

Made keto friendly cornbread and veg soup on Sunday.  It was really good.  I got 4 thumbs up from the boys. Trying to keep my protein levels up is getting expensive, if my current plan doesn’t work, I may just stop donating blood…or donating so often.  I’m going through $25 worth of protein powder per week, that adds up.  I went in on Wednesday and my protein was up to 6.6, which I think is the highest its been.  All last...

Oct 4   US CASES 7,271,064 DEATHS 197,569 Oct 10 US CASES  7,558,714 DEATHS  201,947   Trump has Covid.  Karma. I’m down to 187 lbs. Sunday I woke up to rain at 6am and rolled over and went back to sleep.  Finally woke up at 7am and decided to do some computer work before everyone else woke up.  It remained drizzly but not a lot of hard rain.  I organized some photos to use on a photo slide show, a project that I’ve decided to do to help me learn the video editor program.  I finally got up enough energy to go to the mall to do some laps and headed over to Countryside, I figure it was two stories, so it would be more interesting.  It wasn’t, it was torturous.  They have an ice cream store or a cookie store or a pizza store on every corner.  I finally headed over to BJ’s because I needed keto food before I lost my self-control.  They had a 20 minute wait, so I headed to the Dollar Tree and bought some b...
