Oct 18, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases  7,978,013 Coronavirus US Deaths 207,190   Oct 24, 2020 Coronavirus US Cases  8,377,396 Coronavirus US Deaths  212,337     Other interesting things that happened this week:   Sunday, I made baked tilapia with coconut flour.  It turned out well, but I put the flour on too thick.  Next time it will be thinner.  And possibly fried rather than baked. Now that I’m not worried about plasma donation, I’m eating more of what I want.  I bought celery and cukes and 3 more kinds of dip.  I love my veg and dip. On Monday morning, after the toilet, I weighed in at 186.6.  Hooray!  I didn’t loose weight last week and I thought it was because of all the extra protein I was eating.  I had also not had a lot of fiber…so there may have been some extra weight because of that.  But I’m back to loosing again. We have reservations for the zoo to do a Indian Rhino fee...

Made keto friendly cornbread and veg soup on Sunday.  It was really good.  I got 4 thumbs up from the boys. Trying to keep my protein levels up is getting expensive, if my current plan doesn’t work, I may just stop donating blood…or donating so often.  I’m going through $25 worth of protein powder per week, that adds up.  I went in on Wednesday and my protein was up to 6.6, which I think is the highest its been.  All last...

Oct 4   US CASES 7,271,064 DEATHS 197,569 Oct 10 US CASES  7,558,714 DEATHS  201,947   Trump has Covid.  Karma. I’m down to 187 lbs. Sunday I woke up to rain at 6am and rolled over and went back to sleep.  Finally woke up at 7am and decided to do some computer work before everyone else woke up.  It remained drizzly but not a lot of hard rain.  I organized some photos to use on a photo slide show, a project that I’ve decided to do to help me learn the video editor program.  I finally got up enough energy to go to the mall to do some laps and headed over to Countryside, I figure it was two stories, so it would be more interesting.  It wasn’t, it was torturous.  They have an ice cream store or a cookie store or a pizza store on every corner.  I finally headed over to BJ’s because I needed keto food before I lost my self-control.  They had a 20 minute wait, so I headed to the Dollar Tree and bought some b...

Sept 27 Coronavirus US CASES 6,980,115 Coronavirus DEATHS 192,761     Oct 3      Coronavirus US CASES 7,234,219 Coronavirus DEATHS 197,206     Gil’s Birthday Celebration continued through Sunday.  We started out doing a liter clean up at Sawgrass, I’d signed up a month previous and I decided it might be a fun additional to the rest of the activities.  The liter cleanup was joined by Lisa and Chris and Carla.  It didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped.  I had received a message from the park ranger that the canal at the front of the park was a high liter area.  They had something called a water goat in the canal and it prevents the liter from floating down stream.  It was a good collection of trash but unfortunately much of it was out of reach.  We had liter pickers and a net and this was helpful, but it still left a lot of liter.  We talked about getting a boat but launching i...

9-20-2020 US CASES 6,682,988 DEATHS 187,547     9-26-2020   US CASES 6,945,223 DEATHS 192,460     Decided to do a time released video and went to Weedon on Sunday before dawn.  Hiking in the dark is weird.  Its not exactly dark, because of artificial light in the area, but its not a great deal of light.  I got set up on the observation tower shortly after 6:30am.  Then I had to sit and wait.  I felt weird not doing laps or something.  I was in the park and not moving, full of my morning caffeine and being stationary.  As the sky got a little lighter, I noticed that there was no sign of the sun.  Just lots of clouds.  I was hoping the clouds would thin out as dawn came, but it didn’t happen.  The video ended up in interesting anyway, just not as pretty as I’d hoped.  When I eventually got to download it, I had a hard time with GoPro Quik, and couldn’t figure out how ju...
