Interesting things we did this week
- First week working at home has been fun. I’m multi-tasking like a crazy person. Its nice to be able to use what was previously wasted time. I don’t have to wait for the weekend to do my laundry. I’m working on side projects when there aren’t any calls. Next week I’m going to set up my skin care program so I can get back to that, which has been neglected. There are some negatives of course, I miss my work chair. I didn’t realize how nice our chairs were until I started using the one that was in this room. My back hurts a lot. I’m also in a very small space and I have to have my work stuff and personal stuff on crammed into this small space and utilizing only two power outlets. The wires are a mess and trying not to trip or get them tangled is a chore. I have some ideas to utilize the space better, but we’ll see.
- I’m working Gils neighborhood in the morning now, rather than the pond around work. I’ve taken a number of different routes but I’ve discovered I can get to the Fossil Park walking trail and do a loop and get back and make 3.2 miles. If I leave early enough, I’m going to start to use this route often.
- I seem to be in a good place with the plasma donation now, I haven’t failed protein for awhile and I’m making my twice weekly donations. I’m not loosing much weight because of the constant intake of protein, but next week I’m going to try a more focused attempt: heavy protein 3x a week and heavy veg the other 4 days. We’ll see how that works.
- Gil and I have decided to get the Disney tickets for the Florida Resident deal and I’m very excited. The Festival of the Arts is going on right now at Epcot and I miss it.
