Interesting Things that happened this week:

- Finding a nice comfortable pace at the library in Pinellas Park.  On my second week here and I have a table that I'm growing fond of close to a power plug.  So far, that table is always availabe.  There are other tables available if mine is occupied, but its nice to have a space.
- Work has slowed down, and now I've started working on personal projects in between phone calls.
- I haven't received a single QA since I've left training and the others in my training class are getting weekly coachings.  I know I'm  different since I was there before and I'm a temp.  But I kind of love the idea of no more QAs.
- I took Gil to some of the Largo parks this week.  We did the Heritage Park, which is open on the outside but closed on the inside (no tours of the buildings) and we did the Botanical Gardens.  I got some very pretty pictures.  We didn't explore the Botanical Garden as much as I would like, but rain was eminent and we decided to get back to the car before it came poring down.
- I haven't put that many miles on my feet this week.  Feeling tired and worn down.  I'm wondering if I should be taking vitamins or something with the plasma donation.  I don't want to give up the extra 400 a month, but I also don't want to slide backwards on my health.
- Got a nice jumpstart on my annual "Yearbook" photobook.  I've finished the commentary through the end of March and I've added it to a starter photobook thru early March.  I should have it completed early next week at work.  After March, there will be a single roadtrip with Gil and just local sites and park pictures after that..  Not much else going on for this year.  No festivals, no Disney parks,

May has turned into a the beginning of the next stage.  We’ve been fully vaccinated and the world is slowly starting to open back up.  I’ve put together the Costa Rica trip, which is now taking place in August, as the airfare is much cheaper.  I was able to get it through SW and use my point, yay!  I’ve booked lodging for 11 days - $300 for the first 10 days and $100 for the last day, lol.  I could have gone cheap on the last day, I have places that I use close to the airport, but the name brand hotels next to the airport are usually really expensive and I was able to get one for $100.  We’ll have a full hot breakfast (included in the room) and a ride to the airport.  Our flight is at 8am, so I figured being really close and having that breakfast available would be worth the extra cost.  Plus, a pool, a bar and air conditioning will be nice as we wind up to go home.   I’ve rented a room in Paris for the month of November.  Th...

July started off with a bang – Hurricane Elsa came up the coast and after much tracking and work warnings, it did virtually no damage.  We barely even got any rain.  Based on the radar, someone was getting it, but it pretty much skipped over us. The weekend before the hurricane we were still getting a bunch of rain.  It limited what we could do and I know Gil likes to go out and do things on the weekend as he spends way too much time in front of the tv during the week.  So we went to a flea market in Lakeland that offered a free circus show and alligator farm on the premises.  The circus performed on two different stages at different times of the day and were basically just local performers with some skill.  There was a girl who had trained cats, a magician, a mime…they were all talented individuals but it was about what you would expect from a free circus.  Gil and I both took our turns to be photographed with a live alligator....

Corona US Cases August 30 - 5,893,373 Corona US Cases September 5- 6,141,077 Corona US Deaths August 30 - 171,588 Corona US Deaths September 5 - 176,942 Interesting Things that happened this week: - Got back on the walking wagon this week.  After two weeks of slacking, i got the bug back again.  I think with the plasma donation twice a week plus doing miles outside in Florida in summer, the hydration thing is taking its toll.  I try to hydrate all the time, but I don't think its enough.  Two weeks of not sweating my ass off on a semi daily basis has made me feel better. - Met with Bree at the Largo Central Nature Preserve again and we knocked out 3 miles there.  I did a little more after she left, but Bree kept up for 3 miles.  I think that was a little challenging for her but I'm excited she was able to keep it up.   - Headed...
