Interesting things that happened this week
- Gina's Birthday, we went to Hawkers for drinks.
- Took alligator bites to the parents
- Mom bought a house in VA this week, so they are heading up north to get the Michigan house sorted out and sold. She's selling it to one of my classmates, so that saves her time dealing with realtors etc. Dad isn't thrilled about it but he's agreed to it.
- I'm slowing down on my book but still moving a head slowly.
- I tried to go back to keto this weeek, but all those premix salads I bought previously were high carb. I blew my carb count everyday. Decided to consider it pre-keto practice and went to the grocery to buy some proper salad ingredience and I'll make my own salad. Started again on Friday.
- The weeks are starting to blend together. Gil and I have found a rhythm with the tv. Shows we mutually enjoy and we stick with those when we are together. When I'm out, he watches the poker and weird stuff. When he's out, I watch my beloved 80's tv re-runs.
- Amazon has partnered with IMBD to show old tv shows with commercials. I'm so stupidily happy I don't even mind the commercials. Not sure when this happened, but I received an email and I hit the link and it took me to the Amazon page with the IMDB shows. So far I'm watching: Greatest American Hero, Spenser, Hunter, 21 Jumpstreet, Renigade and The Incredible Hulk. I'm wanting to burn through these fast so I can start watching Little House on the Prairie and Magnum PI.
- Dog at the beach, early in the AM on a week day was a hit. She did some swimming and wading and got some good excercise.
- Gil and I both freaked over a giant spider in the pool area and then we watched in wonder as a three inch lizard stalked and killed it within a three minute period. It was a little humiliating but I'm really happy that lizard was there.
- Gil wanted to go out. So we headed to the Getaway. He'd been talking about it all week and we finally went on Saturday. It was packed full. It was nice to go out but I was really uncomfortable there.
- We made pizza omelets and they were good.
- Decided to pursue the plasma donation group to see what was required to be a donor again. Turns out I'm black listed on a big data base and not just for the original company. I called to try to get it straighted out. The verified the black list and explained the could transfer me to someone that could help me with it. It went to voice mail and I left a message. I haven't heard another back. I assume I'm going to have a similar issue as I had the first time I needed to get it fixed.
