Interesting things that happened this week
- Blue Angles are doing flyovers in various cities around the country to boost morale.
- There is a lot of speculation that North Korea leader Kim Jong-Un is dead.  The world thinks his sister will take over until his son is old enough.  Whether or not the circus will remain is uncertain.
- Last week we had protests in Michigan (among a few other states).  This week we have armed protesters storming the state building and Trump encouraging them to defy state laws/orders.
- We've started doing bonfires/cookouts outside, the weather was good this week and lots of yard waste can be burned.
- I did a walk with Mike this week.  I hadn't seen him since he got back and I figured a walk would be ok.  We went to a park with very few visitors, kept our distance and had a nice couple of miles.  He wanted to do a cookout.  I wasn't too sure of that, but a cookout is outside and we can still keep some distance etc.
- Did a cook out with Mike.  It was a bad choice.  We weren't very organized and Mike was in the house and in the kitchen and outside etc.  We had an fine time and Mike let me use his chainsaw to help with some of the larger tree branches, but there was no social distancing and it was a mistake, we probably won't do it again.
- I'm still working on my book but its going super slow.  I've been on the book for about two weeks and I'm less than 50 miles outside of Chicago.  I think I'm really going to like the finished product though.  I've decided to re-drive the eastern part of Route 66 before I publish.  I went through Illinois way to fast.  I started slowing down in Missouri but I was still moving quick through St Louis and about halfway through.  I missed a lot.
- We've been taking the dog out almost daily for the last week or two.  I think she likes it and its good exercise for her.  She's starting to show a little of her age and isn't as wild and energetic as she has been in the past.  No longer chases everything that moves.
Michigan: Governor Whitmer extends the state's emergency declaration through May 28. Meanwhile, the total number of cases of coronavirus in the state increases to 41,379 with a death toll of 3,789.

Covid-19/Coronavirus statistics for April
