Route 66 Day 40 Nov 17, 2019

Another day with food poisoning issues and I don't want to wander too far away from good bathrooms.  I spend the morning at the library and do more sorting and uploading on the photos.  There are two libraries in Flagstaff and the main library (where I was at) closed at 2pm on Sunday, so off to the movies I go.  I decide to hide out here for the day, its warm, there are bathrooms and I can get a soda the size of my head.  My movie reviews for this day:

Zombieland: Double Tap - I loved the first one, I loved the second one.  It was silly and didn't take itself too seriously.  Plus, one of the new characters is named Flagstaff, so everytime anyone in the movie says Flagstaff, everyone in the theater giggles.  And there is a lot of Elvis, so you know I'll love it.

Charlie's Angels - Apparently it bombed at the boxoffice, but I really loved it.  It takes a little different take, turning Charlies Angels into more of a James Bond series.  If it was successful, it would have allowed Charlies Angels movies to continue forever, regardless of who played the characters.  It worked for me.  I guess it didn't work for other people.

Harriet - I loved the Harriett Tubman story as a kid.  We had homes in my hometown that had tunnels and hiding places that were used during the Underground Railroad as it passed through my town.  The movie had a number of aspects I don't remember as a kid, and I don't know if my memory is failing me, they were left out of the childrens versions of the story or artistic license added things to the story.  I really hope it wasn't artistic license.  The acting was superb and the story was heartbreaking.
